Hey there! My name is Lindsay Lois Gallmann. I am an aspiring journalist and editor from Louisiana, and I have created this blog to foster my creativity as well as offer potential employers a more personal scope of who I am and what I do. With a journalism degree from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, I am now applying my skills to DezinsInteractive Web Development and Marketing Agency, Baton Rouge, LA, after stepping down as State Coordinator for The Louisiana Solar Energy Society in fall 2010. Since then, I have started blog sites and coordinated the social media productions for the Louisiana Pro-life Oratory Committee as well as the Loyola College Prep Forever Campaign.
For the month of April 2011, I will be following God’s call to serve the orphaned and impoverished children of Liberia, Africa, through the Catholic mission founded by Liberia Mission Inc. I invite you to follow my blog during April to gain more insight into this experience, and thank you for allowing me to share such a big piece of myself with you.
In all areas of my life, I strive to keep faith and community service the center of my motivations. And I would not be able to manifest the motives of my heart without the loving support of family, friends and God Himself.
Everyone has a story. Breathing life into these stories enriches our culture through communication and perspective. And being involved in Christ’s story is what it means to be a disciple. What’s your story?
